This is a quick little introduction to Zenithal Highlighting!

An extra tip when spraying white, go slowly and build up the paint so you don’t go too far in anyone direction. Also don’t just spray from above, go at a slight angle as well so that you can get some frontal details of the miniature.

I had a bit of an understanding of the process, but I think I made mistakes in the past by using paints for my basecoat that were way too opaque. One coat paints like Contrast, Speed paint or Xpress color really work best, especially for beginners like me! The thing that was the most helpful was also after having added the one-coat paints, having basic highlights which I could make stronger by adding more opaque paints on top that made the model have greater contrast and brighter highlighted edges.
