Cooking Bacon (in a pot vs in the oven)…one way is clearly better!

We’ve cooked bacon so many different ways around here, but today was the day to officially decide the overall best way.

we ruled out microwave because:
It takes too long to microwave the massive quantity of bacon that we eat.
Microwaves aren’t exactly healthy (not that bacon is a winner in the health department), but we prefer to only use the microwave when necessary.

Option 1: cooking bacon in a large pot. The goal is to decrease the grease splatter since it’s in a large pot.

Option 2: cooking it in the oven.

They’re both quite easy, but one way resulted in a better taste!

And I DO love my cast iron for most things, but I really hate bacon grease everywhere, so that’s why we’re giving the big pot a try.
