J.H. Williams III Lecture | Comics in The City (2018)

J.H. Williams III is an multiple award winning creator in illustration, design, and writing. J.H. is best known for his intricate visual storytelling while working on Chase (with D. Curtis Johnson), Batwoman (with Greg Rucka and Haden Blackman), Promethea with Alan Moore, Desolation Jones with Warren Ellis, Batman with Grant Morrison, and recently, Sandman: Overture with Neil Gaiman. He is now working on projects outside of the comics industry including limited edition suit design for Artful Gentlemen out of San Francisco, all of packaging and cover art for rock band The Sword on their Apocryphon album, and album cover art for the legendary music icon, Blondie. J.H. lives in Las Vegas with his adoring wife, one cat, one rabbit, and an ever expanding comic book collection.
