Meet Jan, and find out how he worked his way as a digital nomad to buy his dreamboat. Starting off on a simple and seaworthy Laurin 32. He sailed it from Germany to Portugal. He spend the lockdown with Riley, Elayna and Lenny from Sailing La Vagabond and working on his first online business selling boat electronics online. He has now setup a second online business together with Nigel Calder, the god of boat mechanics and electrics, where they provide online courses on boat electronics and diesel engines. By living a simple sailors life and working hard as a digital nomad he has now saved up enough to buy his dreamboat, a Malo 39 built in 2002. After a quick refit to get the boat ready again for new adventures he is enjoying the Mediterranean Sea and looking for new adventures and to grow his online businesses. Let’s have a look at his new dreamboat and how he created his dream job onboard!
