Take a look at your hands. We use them constantly each and every day without thinking about them. Those fingers and thumbs in front of your eyes hold a vast wealth of infinite possibilities.

Hidden amongst the ridges and valleys that make up the finger and palm print pattern is a world that is hidden from our view. Even though you cannot see it, your hands are covered with thousands of microorganisms! Not just your hands, in fact, our whole body, most other surfaces around us, and even in the air around us contain an inconceivable amount of these little critters. These tiny creatures most often include a variety of bacteria and viruses.

When a harmful microbe does get into contact with our hands, one of the best preventative measures everyone can do to maintain proper hygiene and stay healthy is to wash our hands frequently. You might ask yourself, what is the best way to wash our hands? Can I just wash with water? How long should I wash my hands? How comprehensive are we washing every area of our hands?
