🎯 Anfal Muhammad Jenkins – Education Advocate and Executive Director of the Newark Special Education Parent Advisory Counsel (SEPAC). She’s a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner at the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association Foundation and a Certified Mental Health Education Program Facilitator at The National Alliance for Mental Illness. She and Saafir Jenkins are married with children, one of whom is diagnosed with autism.

🎯 Saafir Jenkins – Education Advocate and Vice President and Chief Public Affairs Officer of Newark Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC). He’s also a former Newark, NJ School Board Candidate, a keynote speaker and mental health educator. ‘Getting Into It with Saafir,’ is his new blog, promoting meaningful culture change and social justice. He and Anfal Muhammad Jenkins are married with children, one of whom is diagnosed with autism.

🎯 Nadine Wright-Arbubakrr – An Education Advocate for children and families affected by Autism. Due to the lack of accessible and affordable educational and recreational programs, she Founded Nassan’s Place, a non-profit organization inspired by her son Nassan, which provides services and resources for children affected by Autism in and around under-served inner-city communities of Essex County New Jersey.

🎯 Terrance L. Bankston – Director For Student Leadership & Engagement at Bloomfield College New Jersey and the Founder of Parent University NJ; a platform created and led by parents of students to cultivate, organize and mobilize Parents. He’s also an award-winning Rapper and the founder of The Hip Hip Press Conference in New Jersey and the father of a 13 year of daughter who attends a local charter school.

🎯 Kanileah Phelps – Certified Child Advocacy Professional and has a Masters in Social Worker. For the past twenty-three years, she’s worked for a New Jersey State’s Child Protection Agency and is a volunteer Parent Leader with Newark Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC). She and husband Umar have a 15 year old daughter who participates in the Central High School Autism Program.
