PWT Wasser- und Abwassertechnik GmbH, Waste Water Treatment Plant, Had Soualem & Sahel Lakhyayta 1/2

We are very pleased to inform you that the final acceptance of the project „Had Soualem - Sahel Lakhyayta, Morocco, Industrial Waste Water Treatment Plant“’ was signed on 20 September 2024.

The project was realized by PWT Wasser- und Abwassertechnik GmbH in cooperation with a local construction company. The work included the planning, procurement and installation of the mechanical and electrical equipment as well as the construction, commissioning and 10-year operation of the wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 5,121 m³/day.

The construction of the wastewater treatment plant will contribute to improving the ecological and social conditions of the companies located in the industrial parks and those to be located there in the future, as well as the quality of life of the residents of the communities downstream of the Merzeg River.
Built on an area of around nine hectares, the plant has an inlet pumping station, mechanical pre-treatment, biological grease treatment, aeration tank, secondary clarification, sand filtration, UV disinfection, sludge dewatering, solar sludge drying and biological exhaust air treatment.
