Rams linebacker tackles animal rights protesters who invaded football field

Los Angeles Rams linebacker Bobby Wagner tackled an animal rights protester who ran onto the field during his team’s Monday night game against the 49ers on October 3. A steward at the game tackled a second protester.

According to the group Direct Action Everywhere, the protesters disrupted the game to draw attention to the trial of two activists facing prison time for taking two piglets from a Utah farm.

This footage, released by Direct Action everywhere, shows the two activists’ incursions on to the field, both being tackled to the ground. The footage also includes a photo described as showing the two activists posing before the game, and a citation one of the activists received, respectively.
