圧巻の蒸気機関車3重連やプッシュプル、ビンテージ気動車が走る!オーストラリア・ピチリチ鉄道レールフェスト2024

2024年7月28日に開催されたオーストラリア・ピチリチ鉄道50周年記念列車イベント、レールフェスト2024では、様々なビンテージ鉄道車両が運行されました。
蒸気機関車のプッシュプルでメインラインを走行した他、昔のTHE GHANを再現したビンテージなディーゼル機関車の運行、コーヒーポットと呼ばれる可愛らしい蒸気動車やブリル気動車が展示されました。
イベント終了後は蒸気機関車を3重連で車庫まで回送する大迫力な光景を見ることができました。

A variety of vintage rail vehicles were in operation at Railfest 2024, the 50th anniversary train event of the Australian Pichirichi Railway, which took place on 28 July 2024.
A steam locomotive push-pull ran on the main line, a vintage diesel locomotive operated to recreate THE GHAN of old, and a lovely steam locomotive called the Coffee Pot and a Brill diesel railcar were on display.
After the event, visitors were able to see a triple-header of steam locomotives being sent back to the depot, which was a great spectacle.
