SPOTCHECK: Büsum - The everyday LAGOON for KITESURFING

Büsum has a unique kitespot feature - the ‚Perlebucht‘ aka Pearl is a small lagoon that is independent from the tide and offers a nice (most times crowded) playground for kitesurfing and windsurfing. Since 2020, it also seems to be the newly discovered training pool for all the new wingfoilers flooding every spot ;-). During season, please check-in at the local kite center before entering the lagoon, off-season the kite center is gone and so the lagoon is open to everyone (with responsibility and lack of insanity ;-)) If you need more space and your session is timed around high tide, enjoy the North Sea with a very large area of flat water. Feel free to join me on this daytrip on a sunny Sunday in November 2020 and get an impression why Büsum is always worth a trip. A spot overview with some facts is given at the end of the clip.
