Ice climbing is tough on the hands, from frozen fingers to smashing your knuckles on ice mushrooms. Just trying to stay warm after sweating your way up to a freezing top belay is difficult so ice climbers always own a multitude of gloves and mitts. We broke down the lineup of gloves, mitts and extras that you should consider this winter. Ideally, you own all of these and sometimes multiple pairs to swap out during the day.
