Kindly note, the team at Variabrewing has informed us that with different batches of VS3 grinders, they have changed their approach to the number and place of washers. However, if your grinder is giving you espresso ground results between 2.5 and 3.5 grind settings, you should have nothing to worry about. Our VS3 is from the very first batch of grinders and a lot of washers have been added since.
