Journaling is a mean to an end, not an end in itself.

At this point, I am not sure if I want to go beyond the current 5 years. The way I am using it now feels a bit too intense for me to sustain in the long run. But we will have to see at the end of 2024. The world totally changed between January 2020 and March 2020 for us. Within a month, everything was turned upside down. So I’ve learned, once again, not to expect anything from any future, but the remain hopeful about every one of them. I still have three more years before it is time to decide. These days, that’s a very long way away.

I just this minute realised, that this techo will cover not only the first 5 years of my 50s, but also the first 5 years of my marriage, the first 5 years of the pandemic, and the first 5 years of my menopause life.
