Ambuja Cements, part of the Adani Group, has reported its Q2 FY25 results, With 9% YoY volume growth, reaching 14.2 Mn T, this quarter saw the highest Q2 volume in the last five years. The company also posted its highest-ever quarterly revenue of ₹7,516 Cr, marking a 1% YoY increase. Operating EBITDA stood at ₹1,111 Cr, with a margin of 14.8%, leading the industry. With a robust cash position of ₹10,135 Cr and a net worth rising to ₹59,916 Cr.Strategic advancements include a binding agreement to acquire 46.8% of Orient Cements for an equity value of ₹8,100 Cr and joining the Alliance for Industry Decarbonization (AFID), spearheaded by the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), making Ambuja the first cement company globally to join this initiative. With a focus on accelerated organic and inorganic growth, Ambuja is set to achieve a capacity of 100+ MTPA by March 2025. Operating costs saw a 4% YoY improvement at ₹4,497 PMT.
