When down, many want to know what has gone wrong with their drive. Provided that the HIM is still active, the PowerFlex 525/523 is capable of displaying useful information for troubleshooting. This video describes the parameters that should be on top of anyone's troubleshooting checklist.

Display Parameters:

B006: Drive Status Parameters - a "1" means the drive is currently in said status.

B013 and B014 display the status of the digital inputs and dynamic brake.

Parameters B006, B013, and B014 show the status of the drive at the time of viewing, and not at the time of a fault. For fault Associated data, please see the following parameters:

B007, B008, B009: The actual fault codes. B007 is the most recent fault and B009 is the 3rd most recent.

F604 to F610: The remaining 7 fault codes. The PowerFlex 525/523 contain the last 10 fault codes.

F611-F620: These parameters show the value of elapsed time in hours from last time of reset to the time of the fault. To see the hours since reset for the drive, check out parameter D362

F621-F630: Show the value of elapsed minutes since last timer reset at the time of the associated fault. This value resets every 60 minutes. To see the current minutes since reset, check out parameter D363.

F631-640: The Drive frequency at the time of fault
F641-650: The output current at the time of fault
F651-660: the bus voltage at the time of fault -- this is a great go-to for a bus overvoltage fault :)
F661-F670: The status of the drive at the time of fault

BTW, the most recent fault code (B007) is associated with parameters F611/F621/F631/F641/F651/F661 and the 10th most recent fault code is associated with F620/F630/F640/F650/F660/F670, respectively. The other fault codes fall between these in numerical order.
