FANTASTIC Winter Streamer action (Euro Style)

Had an incredible early winter day Jigging Streamers with the Euro rod on some wild tailwater Rainbows in western, VA. It is one of my favorite tactics for winter fishing. It is a super active way to fish, you cover a lot of water, and are always looking for those aggressive fish that simply can't pass up a nice piece of protein.

The streamer of the day was my Honey Badger Sculpin. Olive in a size 8 with a 4mm bead. I concentrated on the slower cuts and deeper pools off the main current. I was into fish almost the entire day.

Jigging Streamers is highly effective, especially in the winter. It is something that I really recommend adding to your bag of tricks.
