ARTIST STATEMENT
Yalanji culture informs my knowledge of our traditional stories and lifestyle and I use contemporary means to express my ideas. Kuku Yalanji people feel a deep connection to their traditional lands (Bubu). We find harmony and a place of belonging when out on our Bubu. This is our way of healing. It is our Lore.
