50 years ago Father Vic Van Bortel sj founded Kishor Nagar, a home for poor boys. There he guided his boys (up to 800!) in finding their dignity as children, in developing their talents and skills and so he enabled them to occupy their rightful place in society.
The golden jubilee was celebrated on the 3rd of November 2019 in presence of the Archbishop of Ranchi and many prominent guests of which 21 who have come for that occasion from Flanders.
It was a wonderful event full of happiness and gratitude for the founder and his collaborators.
