I was initially excited by the sensitive topic, but while the movie does well in portraying military discipline and the harsh conditions, the escape scenes fell flat and lacked the intensity I expected. Lee Je Hoon's portrayal of a desperate soldier trying to escape was the standout, delivering a raw and emotional performance. Overall, it's worth watching for its depiction of North Korea, but the escape plot could have been more realistic and suspenseful.
