How not to tow 22777 Stagecoach from Victoria Bus Station, Nottingham, Sat 24 Aug 13

Two broken down buses at the same time create trouble at Nottingham's Victoria Bus Station. 22777 Stagecoach was the first one to be removed, first being pulled out from bay 2 backwards. The recovery vehicle then positions itself in front of the bus, and it is towed away down the hill. However, disaster then strikes, when the rear wheel leaves the pavement the back of the bus drops, and crumples some of the offside bodywork. A few minutes later the near side is affected, but this is not visible on the video, although you can hear the sound of the scraping. I did not have time to stay an video the rescue of TrentBarton 827. The video is now updated showing the scrapes the bus caused on the kerb stones. 22777 was back in service by 7 Sep, with the offside panel clearly having been replaced!
