VILIM ball is a revolutionary non-invasive handheld medical therapeutic device which provides neuromodulation therapy that, in most cases, is able to provide temporary relief from hand tremors. It was developed by VILIMED, a medical startup based in Kaunas Science and Technology Park in Lithuania. The idea for the VILIM ball sprouted from a PhD thesis on rheumatoid arthritis treatment with mechanical stimulations.

VILIM ball is the one and only CE0197 medical class 2a device for hand tremor reduction. It has been tested for safety and performance and is ISO 13485 certified. This certification indicates that the therapeutic device is safe and effective for individuals with essential tremor and Parkinson's Disease. VILIM ball satisfies all applicable standards as a medical device which allows it to be recommended by clinicians for their patients.


VILIM ball operation is based on artificial intelligence (AI) controlled vibrational therapy, which interrupts the neurological loop. It houses sensors that monitor tremor level to personalize vibrational therapy. It takes a minimum of 14 days to complete the personalization process. It can only be used by one person or VILIM ball will use tainted data, which will likely impede the therapeutic results.
