Chee Dale Stepping Stone Walk | Peak District

Down in the Peak Districts secluded Chee Dale, you can find not 1 but 2 sets of stepping stones. In my opinion these are the best stepping stones to be found in the Peak (even better than Dove Dale). Taking you across sections of the River Wye where the cliffs cut in and loom over head, these sections make for exciting walking and beautiful scenery.
But that's not all you can see on this walk. Various sections both on and below the Monsal Trail show off the river, tall bridges, abandoned buildings and nature in abundance.
A great short walk suitable for all ages, this Peak District classic is a must.
