This is a build of a ladder hoist I needed while building an addition to my house. I needed a way to lift shingles, materials, and tools, to work on my house, which was quick and easy to use. This saved me many heavy trips up the ladder. This took me roughly 2 hours to build and was very simple to accomplish. I had the ladder already and bought the cable hoist on sale for $159CAD at Princess Auto(similar to harbor freight). Everything else was scraps around the shop. I will update with another video of any changes I make as I fine tune the machine.
