Neverwinter - Guild and Stronghold Tips

Описание к видео Neverwinter - Guild and Stronghold Tips

As stronghold week continues, I thought I would share and rant about something which most people never talk about. These tips will help you to build, and once at max, keep your players happy when looking to dump things for guild marks.

As a guild leader, it is your responsibility to build and maintain the stronghold with the help of your membership. If membership is not encouraged to go out and help, then they will not bother with the stronghold. We at the SCA and FB, have been lucky enough to have good leaders and membership throughout the years to set an example for those that have come later.

Leadership requires you to be proactive though, and if you are not setting the example for your members then your guild will not thrive. You must be regularly calling events (Marauders, Dragon Flight, heroic runs, mission days, etc) in a growing guild.

If your structures are not at maximum and you are doing things other than taking time out of your schedule to do the above, you have failed your membership as a guild leader. If you want to play the game, by all means do it. If you want to run a guild you have to sacrifice some of your game time to the guild so it can grow.

Hard rules for strongholds. Never more than the four production structures you build during the first levels of the guild. More than four production structures are counterproductive and requires you to tend five or six structures as opposed to four. Build your support structures!!! Milling yard, smelter's yard, masonry guild, and animal pen. In the end these will benefit you more than an extra farm or quarry.

Maiden's Lane Hollow and North Gate should never be used for production structures. These are the only two sites which you can build warehouses on and should only have those structures built there. To do otherwise will hamper your coffer capacity in an extreme way.

If you as a player are not actively assisting in the growing of your guild, do not complain to leadership about how slow the guild hall is growing. As a player you need to assist. Anyone can look at the guild tab and see who is donating to the coffer. In SCA and FB both, helping to grow the guild will get you more attention and chances of promotion than will your ability to do end game. We do not promote like other guilds based on item level or end game status.

As a guild leader be proactive in burning off things like dungeoneer's shards, profession supplies, surplus equipment, gems, gold, and astral diamonds. These are the things a majority of players drop. If you are a maxed-out guild, you have to keep space for people to contribute. Build a smelter's yard on the fifth support site and tear it down regularly. It will burn those supplies. Put up the recruiter, gemcutter, assayer, and mysterious merchant to burn off these supplies. You do not have to tend them, just place them to provide coffer space.

In the end be proactive. And if it doesn't apply, walk on by.

P.S. And in advance, you are welcome. You know who you are. ;)
