PLC Fault Handling | Scada In Studio 5000 Using a File Bit Comparison | FBD Instruction Studio V32

Описание к видео PLC Fault Handling | Scada In Studio 5000 Using a File Bit Comparison | FBD Instruction Studio V32

Fault handling using a FBD instruction in Studio 5000 V32 for large-scale systems that take advantage of the user-defined data type that we mad in the last video.

Large scale scada systems in PLC programming often take different shapes & sizes but have a lot of common features. In this instance, we are taking a file bit comparison instruction to scroll an array of data.

Then if something is caught the FBD stops & indicates which position it found. We use a masked move for this to be able to filter out an alarm that we need to ignore an any given time.

Video content:
Minute 2:00 - Adding the FBD instruction
Minute 9:06 - Adding the masked move or MVM instructions
Minute 19:50 - Adding logic to reset the data
Minute 28:45 - Testing the alarm catch fro the FBD instruction
Minute 29:40 - Adding our system faults in ladder logic
Minute 40:00 - Fault testing through eh HMI client
Minute 42:00 - Fixing the Finite state machine logic
Minute 51:07 - Servo system live testing after plc code fix
Minute 55:40 - Ignoring data through a masked move or MVM instruction
Minute 56:50 - Overview Talk

I hope you enjoyed the video.
