Graeme Jones is chemical ecologist at Keele University who has a passion for public science. In 2002 he led the team that built the Guinness World Record breaking model of DNA in Stoke. The models in Molecules Matter were originally created for Molecular Mardi Gras a street level science carnival in 2005 complete with molecules the size of houses, Molly Cool and Mr and Miss Molecular. Basically he is mad about molecules, the bigger the better.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
