White horse, Kilburn, Thirsk. Thomas Taylor a Victorian businessman's idea.

This 150 year old white horse in the hill side can be seen for miles, i wanted to take a little look at it as i was passing. The Thirsk Horse was an idea from one man over 150 years ago back in the Victorian age and is still there to date.
