Hashkiveinu | Jeremy Sipe | Central Synagogue

“Lay us down to sleep in peace, Adonai our God, and raise us up, our Protector, to life; spread over us the shelter of Your peace.”

This unique version of Hashkiveinu was written by Central community member and former LCLJ song leader Jeremy Sipe, who’s spending a year in Israel studying to be a cantor. We were fortunate to have him join us for Shabbat before he heads back to Israel to continue his studies, uplifting us with his beautiful new version of the prayer for peace.
