Safety is a top priority in the kitchen, so Samsung will provide appropriate knob covers for your slide-in range to help prevent accidental activation of the stovetop.
You should have either flat or angled knob covers based on the shape of your range’s control surface. To install them, use the included double-sided adhesive pieces. Peel each adhesive piece from the sheet and affix them to the four corners of the knob cover. Then, remove the white liner to expose the range-facing adhesive. Ensure the surface of the control panel is clean and dry to assure the effectiveness of the adhesive. Remove the white liner to expose the adhesive., Align the knob cover with the hinge at the bottom so that it is aligned and centered with the knob. Then, fully affix the knob cover adhesive by pressing firmly on each of its 4 corners.
Once the knob cover is installed, you can open the knob cover and use the knob normally. Press down on the top portion of the dome to release the cover and open it at the hinge. The knob cover should not open without pressing the top portion with the three grip lines.
