In episode 71 of whisky in SV, I did a blind tasting of two excellent bourbons from Georgia: The 13th Colony SiBBP barrel #140 and the Fiddler Georgia Heartwood Single Barrel. As you know, I am a big fanboy when it comes to 13th Colony because of how uniquely delicious their products are. There is just something about that Georgia oak profile that really hits the spot for me. Until recently, I was prepared to sell my soul to get my hands on that sweet sweet 13th Colony juice, but in Fiddler, I have found a similar profile which can be had without selling an arm and a leg - at least for now.
