Number 1:
Price your home is priced.

When priced correctly and listed on the MLS, most homes should sell within 10-14 days. Pricing too high "in hopes to negotiate" results in buyers passing over your listing.

So, do your research and set a realistic price for your home.

Number 2:
Prepare your home.

This means removing all personal items, decluttering, and deep cleaning your home. The goal is to present a blank canvas so that buyers can envision themselves living in your home.

Number 3:
Use a Professional photographer.

Never take photos with your phone and expect great results. Invest in a professional photographer who can capture the best features of your home and make it stand out from the rest.

Number 4:
Market your home.

You can design social media posts, market to real estate agents, and design and print flyers. There are a lot of creative ways to get your home in front of potential buyers.

Number 5:
Be responsive.

Always answer the phone, remember, you're the salesperson. Treat the buyer as your client, respond, and follow up in a professional manner. This will show buyers that you're serious about selling your home and are willing to work with them throughout the process.
