Autumn at Showa Kinen Park 🍁🍂 [4K] // Japan Vlog

Autumn is my favorite season everywhere, but especially in Japan...

I recently visited Showa Kinen Park in Tachikawa, Tokyo to enjoy some beautiful autumn leaves. Showa Kinen Park (or Showa Memorial Park), is actually the largest park in Tokyo. Many people don't know that before it was a family-friendly national park, Showa Kinen Park was a Japanese military airbase. Today, it's home to bicycle paths, dog runs, a Japanese garden, food stalls, and many other delights.

I did not know what to expect when I visited this park, but I was truly impressed. I'm already planning to return to Showa Kinen Park in spring to see sakura. It was the perfect escape from the overwhelming urban streets of Tokyo's. If you live in the Tokyo area and are interested in visiting this park, I believe that they also have a Christmas illumination in December.
