"Trouble" ~ June Millington, from HEARTSONG

Are we ever in Trouble now! But I wrote it in 1980, we recorded in '81, and it was released on the album "Heartsong" in '82. It seemed like there was a lot of trouble back then, worldwide ~ but somehow it seems we've really accelerated in these current times.
"Trouble" was written and recorded on my Les Paul Jr, which is featured in this photo by Linda Wolf. Recorded by Tret Fure, and we did this together as a collaboration: I did all the guitar parts, sang, played bass and drums + tambourine. Tret contributed additional vocals, and now that I listen to it again, closely, I love it still but it needs more guitar! So I will re-visit the track, and definitely add slide and more lead.
So expect a Part II! But I'd like to refer to some of what was going on then, including the Hillside Strangler in LA, which is just a small slice - but where this was recorded. It sure seemed big to me ...
I'll fill in more later, meanwhile please allow this lead you into your own thoughts and feelings around our incredible complications. And hopefully, this recording also leads you into some of those silent, introspective spaces where we can find some inner peace, and where perhaps it can then emanate.
