Well now! This is a MUCH better improvement over my original 2024 test run on the Canary branch. Thanks to a friend of mine, ‪@doastuff‬ I've grabbed the Edge branch to XENIA and already it's dunning this game much more stable than it did the last time I bothered to try it out. No more graphical explosions (so far), no more glitched textures, and outside of some shader pop-in which is natural for Vulkan, the fidelity is indeed quite amazing. The only hiccup I could pick up on is the BGM sometimes cutting itself off at times, but that's extremely minor compared to the issues that I ran into in the previous video. All the better to get absolutely ran over and bullied by DOA4's notoriously difficult AI. But at least we function and look good now!
