July 3rd 2024 Long Island Metro Fishing Report with Matthew Broderick

Fluking through the 4th might be the slogan of the week since the hot fluke bite continued in the South Shore bays once again. The bite has been better on the inside as opposed to the ocean. Striper fishing also continues to be excellent on the North Shore and now the East End of the island, evident by the good run of fish in Montauk and recent reports from the Gut and Race. Porgies are loaded along most North Shore beached as well and are beginning to come up with the sea bass in Montauk. Also tune in this week all of the fishing news updates including another Open Boat episode, news on a hearing for the 10-mile per hour restriction, the Captree fireworks show and more.
