NEW RELEASE! 60 Years in Prison at 15: Anthony's Story Continued - Prison Barbershop

In this video we continue our story with Anthony Villalon, a young man we met back in 2010 when he was a teenager in his first few years of prison after receiving a 60 year sentence at age 15. After serving over half his life behind bars, we visited Anthony again in 2023 to see how his life had gone since we last left him as a teen. In this video, our producer follows Anthony during a day on the job as a barber in the prison barbershop. The prison also housed death row, and was built when Abraham Lincoln was president. For viewers who missed our 2023 interview with Anthony in prison during that same visit, we have included it in this video. During the interview, he talks about his life as a young kid, the background of his crime, and how the past 15+ years inside prison walls has shaped the person he's become and what he hopes for his future.

At the end of the video, we then look back at clips from our 2010 interview with Anthony and his former cellmate, Colt, as they talked about the surreal nature of being young kids serving hard time. The end of the video also features a 2024 update on both young men.
