The small city of Maryborough, the birth place of Mary Poppins, is the subject of this 4K walking tour which took place in December 2020, not long before Christmas.
Covid really seems to have impacted Maryborough with the streets quiet and many businesses look like they are permanently shut. Maybe being so close to Christmas everyone had left town for a holiday somewhere else.
There are some historically old buildings in Maryborough, which was nice for this 4K walking tour as I walked around what would be considered the CBD.
It was warm weather, the streets quiet and the afternoon was winding down. I could only find two pubs that were open.
