Submandibular Sialendoscopy: Endoscopic Salivary Stone Removal

Video demonstrating minimally invasive salivary stone removal from the submandibular duct. The duct opening (Wharton's duct) and sublingual duct itself is dilated wider using salivary probes of increasing diameter. Once adequately enlarged, a special endoscope (sialendoscope) is introduced to visualize the stones. Tiny graspers and baskets are used to then remove the stones.
