This week ‪@helenalicejohnsonartist‬ I visit the North East Coast for inspiration of my large abstract seascape paintings. I am painting these for a solo exhibition of paintings at St Andrews Church in Corbridge in June 2025. The exhibition is part of the celebrations of the 1350 years that St Andrews Church has been there. The seaside at Tynemouth and St Mary's Lighthouse looked magnificent in the soft winter light and the blowing wind and I managed to gather lots of research and source material for my next four paintings.
