Hello Miata Family,
3 months ago, Mazda technical team adjusted the headrest location (under warranty). However, if you don't push down the back of the top, it still touches the headrest. I got a loaner car from Mazda, and the 2023 Mx5 Gt has the same issue. They can't do anything more about it. I guess this issue happens more GT model because the GT model has an additional layer of top.
