BSN FEATURE: 321’s COME TOGETHER FOR ONE GREAT CAUSE: 321EMPOWERMENT PRESENTS CHECK TO 321 ELITE
In Brevard County, real impact doesn’t always come from stadium lights or scoreboards. Sometimes, it comes from people and organizations who understand the grind, remember where they came from, and refuse to let the next generation walk the path alone.
Recently, members of 321Empowerment which included former Holy Trinity and Notre Dame standout Ray Herring, former Titusville standout and New Orleans Saints draft pick, Rockledge City Councilman Michael Cadore, and Cocoa City Councilman and former Rockledge standout, Alex Goins presented a check for $10,000 to 321 Elite Youth Football
The check presentation is part of a growing partnership built on opportunity, access, and belief.
Brevard Sports Network was on hand and spoke with Herring as a well as coach Jodi Harpe, who is a tremendous part of the 321 Elite Youth Football Program and someone who truly believes in making sure today’s student athletes turn into the Herring’s, Cadore’s and Goins’ of tomorrow.
The timing of this presentation couldn’t be better.
321 Elite has been practicing hard this past month for upcoming major games and national stages that are mere days and weeks away.
This weekend they’ll have every team from their program competing right here in Brevard County in The Who Want Smoke Showcase Tournament which is taking party over two days with all of the championship games being broadcast on BSN on Sunday from Palm Bay High.
321 Elite serves athletes from 6U through 14U, creating a pipeline where talent is developed early, expectations are set high, and excellence is the standard — not the exception.
From ring culture to big-game atmospheres, 321 Elite has earned its reputation the hard way.
Championship hardware. Speed everywhere. Straight-up dominance.
It’s a program known for producing results, exposure, and confidence — and one workout can put a young athlete into a lineage that has already proven it belongs on the biggest youth football stages in the country.
But even elite programs face real-world obstacles.
Travel. Registration. Room and board. The costs that come with competing at the highest levels don’t disappear just because the talent is there.
That’s where 321Empowerment’s donation will really help.
The donation will help cover the essential expenses tied to competing with 321 Elite — removing barriers that too often prevent athletes from simply getting on the field. It’s support that goes beyond football, rooted in a mission to uplift, educate, and empower.
At its core, 321Empowerment Youth Organization exists to inspire and prepare 9th through 12th grade students for life beyond the game.
Through mentorship, innovative programming, and partnerships across Brevard County, the organization focuses on leadership, resilience, and long-term growth — creating an environment where young people are equipped not just to compete, but to thrive.
The vision is simple and powerful:

For Herring, this moment was personal.
A product of the Space Coast who rose through the ranks with talent, discipline, and opportunity, he understands what access can change — and what happens when it’s taken away.
This check presentation wasn’t about charity, it was about investment and a belief. And it was about making sure the next wave of athletes doesn’t miss out because of circumstances beyond their control.

Programs lifting programs. Leaders pouring back into the community. And young athletes being told — clearly and loudly — that their dreams matter.
