Lakewood 1st Generation P-223 Box Fan | Initial Checkout

A Lakewood 1st Generation P-223 box fan given to me by ‪@torythefanman‬ at the fan meet this year. After nearly a decade of watching videos, it was nice to finally meet up with him in person.

This is the first 1st Generation unit I've had experience with. The blades are fairly similar to the 2nd Generation, but sound different and move the air differently as well. The McMillan shaded pole motor has the square stater, which I believe dates this back to the mid 70s.

The fan is in overall excellent condition considering the age and is fully operational. The blade is significantly out of balance, but that's nothing that can't be fixed. This is a really nice piece for my collection and a great memory of that day.
