This trial is worth another look, especially as there have been recent developments as well as an excellent podcast concerning the case called "In the Land of Lies."

Decorated Gwinnett County, Ga police officer Michael Chapel is on trial for his life. He stands accused of murdering Emogene Thompson on April 15, 1993 and stealing the $7K in cash that the victim had on her at the time.

Gregg Jarrett is the host.

The Honorable Fred A. Bishop presides.

Working for the prosecution is Danny Porter (District Attorney for Gwinnett County), Scott Smeal and Thomas Davis.
