In the pilot episode of Star Trek (the original series), the Talosians abduct Captain Christopher Pike, commander of the starship Enterprise. A rescue mission is planned for a direct assault with the ship's weaponary against the laser-resistant entrance of his captors' underground complex.

With a recent viewing of The Avengers movie that left it's theme music ringing in my ears for days, I just knew this would be the perfect "rescue-assault music" (trimmed to fit, of course) for that all-sound-effects Star Trek sequence. While at it, I also resized the Star Trek picture from "square" TV (standard for the 1960's when this was made) to today's "widescreen" experience! It now sings!
