On the 10th of July 2021, Steamrail Victoria operated thier first tour on the Lilydale Line in 10 years, which bought crowds of locals and rail enthusiasts lineside to spot and photograph the train. The shuttle trips departed Lilydale Station, making 4 shuttle trips throughout the day to Ringwood and Return. A morning and afternoon transfer were also offered as journeys, departing Newport and Flinders Street in the morning and departing Lilydale in the afternoon, but it would've been a very special departure.

The shuttle trips were ran as a way of Farewelling the old Lilydale Station, as it was being relocated and rebuilt as a "Skyrail" Station to remove the Maroondah Highway level crossing. Therefore the departure at 3:53pm (listed as 4:53pm in the video, an error on my behalf) was the last steam train ever out of the old Lilydale Station, a historic moment for the station which at points in time, steam trains were its main form of traffic. It was also the last steam train through the old Mooroolbark Station, as that is set to close in less than a week.

We spot the train at Heatherdale, multiple trackside locations in Ringwood East, Croydon, Mooroolbark and a few spots in Lilydale.
