The 2025 250 Series Toyota Prado has arrived with retro exterior looks, a huge boost in cabin tech and all-new underpinnings derived from its slightly bigger brother, the LandCruiser 300 Series.

Oh yeah, as is the Toyota way these days, price rises are also substantial. But when you see all that’s new and the amount of interest the new Prado has generated you can understand why Toyota’s decided to charge more.

But raising the price also raises the expectations of a higher standard and while the new Prado definitely delivers in the way it drives on- and ff-road in other ways it is a disappointment.
