Maya: A Maths Experiment in Bifrost Graph

Описание к видео Maya: A Maths Experiment in Bifrost Graph

Bifrost (or Bifröst) GRAPH is a Maya module introduced in summer 2019 after Siggraph. The Graph Editor has a steep learning curve, but we can start with rather simple things in order to get going. In this tutorial I'll demonstrate the workflow to manipulate a simple geometry with three mathematical functions. Since Bifröst Graph is a visual programming language the nodes can be quite abstract. For example the Multiply node does not multiply anything – unless you feed its input with a Value node. Sounds complex? Worth trying, folks. Bifröst Graph can lead to amazing results ... compared to my more or less simple and crude ones here.
