Brenthouse is a place I called home for the last half a decade. She hugs the mountain and kisses the sea here in Strandhill and I have been lucky enough to keep her company for some time. Unfortunately we say our goodbyes this week.

I wrote this song here with my surroundings in mind although it’s one from the heart.

An honest number about hope and love, something I quite haven’t figured out yet, but at the end of the day trying to find peace in it all and lay my head down at night .

I hope it resonates with someone and offers little refuge, we’re all cut from the same cloth at the end of the day.

The “Brent Geese” migrate from Canada to bay here in the winter months to seek refuge from the cold Artic weather, I find it fascinating and find solitude in there determination to change and find a better life for themselves. Think of it what you will.
