8x8 is a communications technology company that provides cloud-based solutions for voice, video, chat, and contact centers. Since 2022, they have been using Ampere instances on OCI to power many of their core voice and video meeting services.

In this episode, we talk to Emil Ivov, VP of Product for Video Platform and Services at 8x8. Emil will share how 8x8 has build video services around the open source Jitsi platform that he has led since its creation in 2003.
