Phuket Bird Park is located on 12 acres of gardens and grounds at the base of a hill. The park has nearly one thousand birds, consisting of about 100 different species from mostly Asia, Africa and South America. As well as having smaller birds such as parrots and magpies they also have larger birds, including Hornbills, ostriches, cranes and colourful feather peacocks. The park is well laid out and being on a hill has a number of slopes and a few steps in places.
